The Wanderlust Collection was born at the beginning of the pandemic, when travel became limited and the world suddenly felt much smaller. Wanting to create a way to experience the feeling of traveling somewhere new, Founder and Maker Kristi Moe set out to create a collection that would let you travel through scent.

The destinations were chosen with both travel and Zodica’s story in mind. We selected some of the country’s major flight hubs; Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City, places that connect travelers to destinations around the world. We also wanted to include Texas and Wisconsin, two places that hold a special place in Zodica’s history. Texas is where Zodica began, while Wisconsin has been our home for more than eight years and is where we continue to create and grow the brand today.

For each destination, Kristi studied its natal chart using an important founding date to recreate what the sky looked like over that location on that day. She then used the zodiac signs represented in each location’s chart as a guide, blending elements from the corresponding Zodica zodiac fragrances to create a completely custom scent for each destination.

The result is our most complex collection yet. Each Wanderlust fragrance is made from a unique combination of the zodiac-inspired scents, bringing together more than 200 different fragrance oils across the collection to capture the personality, energy, and essence of each place.
